WILD Flavors and Specialty Ingredients develops new clear color blends for Europe - Clean labeling for the trend color orange
Heidelberg-Eppelheim, September 26, 2013. WILD Flavors and Specialty Ingredients (WILD) has extended its Colors from Nature® range to include clear orange color blends – a particularly popular color for food and beverages. The new development allows the company to satisfy the high demand for coloring foodstuffs. This demand was recently boosted due to an EU regulation valid as of June 1, 2013 that further restricts the use of azo dyes.
WILD Flavors and Specialty Ingredients now provides an even wider range of coloring foodstuffs for orange shades acceptable for use in the European market which do not require E numbers. The new blends allow manufacturers to create appealing clean label products.
Orange in all shades
Orange and other fruits that require the color “orange” are among the most popular flavors for foods and beverages – products flavored with orange, mango, a mix of tropical fruits and many other fruity varieties.
