Increasing Strength and Flexibility

Millions of people currently suffer aches and pains throughout their bodies, specifically associated with bones and joints. Often, consumers feel it is just a simple outcome of aging – but many are now turning to natural ingredients and nutraceuticals to help reduce symptoms and allow for better management of bone and tissue health in hopes of strengthening these areas for the future.

The human body is a complicated assembly of bones, muscles, and joints. Chronic pain and stiffness can make even the most enjoyable activities unbearable. It’s time to strengthen the body from the inside out through diet and nutrition.

Methylsulfonyl Methane (MSM)

MSM is a naturally occurring sulfur compound, and sulfur is an important component for the maintenance of collagen (connective tissue). It helps maintain joint flexibility.

Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic Acid (HA) occurs naturally in the body. The highest concentration is found in the soft connective tissue. It is present in cartilage, synovial joint fluid and skin tissue. It is essential for preservation of synovial fluid, which maintains bones and joints. HA also works to hydrate the skin from the inside out.

Boswellia Serrata

Boswellia Serrata has been used for thousands of years as a natural anti-inflammatory. Studies have shown boswellic acids contained within the herb can block the formation of leukotrienes, the immune cells responsible for inflammation. Boswellic acids have been shown to help control the inflammatory response in several ways. Purposed methods are deterring inflammatory white cells from infiltrating damaged tissue and improving blood flow to the joints.

Glucosamine

Glucosamine is found in cartilage and plays an important role in its health and resiliency. As we age, we lose glucosamine in cartilage. The thinning of cartilage may lead to the onset and progression of osteoarthritis. Studies show that glucosamine helps alleviate minor aches and pains associated with daily life. Some studies suggest that glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate should be used together.

Chondroitin Sulfate

Chondroitin Sulfate is an important structural component of cartilage and provides resistance to compression. Loss of chondroitin sulfate from cartilage is believed to be a major cause of osteoarthritis. Studies show that chondroitin has significant benefits in terms of alleviating pain associated with exercise. Some studies suggest using chondroitin in conjunction with glucosamine.

Calcium & Vitamin D

99% of the body’s Calcium is found in bones and teeth. Calcium is so critical that the body will de-mineralize bone in order to maintain normal blood calcium levels. It is needed to maintain the skeleton. Calcium has a FDA health claim that it reduces the risk of osteoporosis. Vitamin D is essential for calcium absorption in the body.

Collagen Hydrolysate

Collagen makes up approximately 30% of the body's total protein. It is found in connective tissue and is essential for the healthy growth and development of muscles, tendons and bones. As we age, collagen in our bodies decreases. Collagen also is used for skin health to maintain proper elasticity.

Horsetail Extract

Horsetail Extract is naturally rich in readily absorbable silica. Studies have shown silica’s primary function is to develop and maintain proper connective tissue and bone health. Silica also helps the body store more calcium. Horsetail Extract helps promote proper joint function.

Soy Isoflavones

Isoflavones derived from soy have many health benefits, including alleviating menopausal symptoms and maintaining proper heart and bone health.

Olive Polyphenols

Olives contain a large amount of polyphenolic compounds. One of the main polyphenols found in olives is hydroxytyrosol. Hydroxytyrosol is believed to have the highest free radical scavenging capacity of any antioxidant. Recent studies have shown olives may promote joint function and mobility.

Pomegranate Extract

Pomegranate Extract may block enzymes that contribute to cartilage degradation in osteoarthritis, thus slowing the loss of cartilage.

Grapeseed Extract

Grapeseed Extract may help promote tissue elasticity and may be beneficial in helping to restore collagen.

Vitamins D3 and K2

Vitamin D3 is essential for calcium absorption in the body. Studies have shown that Vitamin K2 can increase bone density and reduce the risk of fractures.
